Scholarship Office Hires Student Success Counselor

Jeff Strickland, a Class of 2001 alumnus of the Ford ReStart Program, joined The Ford Family Foundation on Oct. 7 as the student success counselor in the Scholarship Office in Eugene, Ore. Strickland replaces Shamra Clark, who left the position in mid-August for a position with the Oregon Student Access Commission.

First FSAA President Andrea Smith Hands Over the Gavel

Andrea Smith reluctantly passed the gavel to a pleased Mary Chuinard during a Ford Scholar Alumni Association Board of Directors meeting in Eugene, Ore. Smith led the Ford Scholar Alumni Association for 10 years, passing the title of president to Chuinard on July 13, 2013.

Alumni Celebrate Autumn

Four-year-old Milana Manuylo seemed thrilled to have seen a gigantic pumpkin slowly make its way to the top of a crane only to be let loose and crash into a swimming pool, causing a great eruption and cheers from the crowd.
