In an effort to foster connections between current Ford Scholars and alumni, the Ford Scholar Alumni Association has organized the second annual summer get together for alumni and Scholars on Saturday, July 18 at Eagle Crest Resort in Central Oregon.
“We invite you to help current Ford Scholars develop their networking skills and answer questions about your experience as a Ford Scholar during and after college,” said FSAA Member at Large Michelle Bolduc Culaba, who spearheaded the event. “Come early and join in our daytime activities preceding the Meet and Greet to connect with your fellow Ford Scholar Alumni. We hope to see you there!”
The Meet and Greet coordinates with the Ford Scholars Leadership Conference for the classes of 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ford Scholars.
Saturday, July 18 Schedule:
Eagle Crest Resort: 1522 Cline Falls Road Redmond, Ore.
Noon — Meet at The Putting Course at Eagle Crest Resort for a photo
12:30-3:00 p.m. — Play The Putting Course
3:30-5:00 p.m. — Happy hour on the patio at Brassie’s Bar and Lounge and Silverleaf Café at Eagle Crest Resort
5:30 p.m. — Meet at the Golden Eagle Ballroom at Eagle Crest Resort Conference Center for Meet and Greet (alumni only)
5:45-6:45 p.m. — Meet and Greet the classes of 2012, 2013 and 2014 Ford Scholars
Alumni and their families are invited to play mini golf in groups of six at The Putting Course at the resort for the discounted group rate of $7 per adult and $5 per child. All are welcome to happy hour at the resort lounge and café before joining the Meet and Greet that evening.
Alumni should bring business casual attire to change into for the Meet and Greet and should bring business cards to hand out to Scholars.
